Even when he understood the subject, he could not complete tasks on time because he had no structure or system to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His parents initially felt helpless and frustrated, and homework time had become a daily battleground filled with constant reminders, arguments, and emotional exhaustion. They believed he was being careless, when in reality, he simply did not know <em>how<\/em><em> to organise himself<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>How we Helped:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To support him, we first addressed organisation before academics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We introduced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>simple visual routines, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a checklist-based system to help him organise his school bag and study table each day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>we broke larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A colour-coded folder method <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A weekly \u201cstudy map\u201d helped him plan what to do, instead of worrying about when to do it. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over 6\u20138 weeks, the child became more independent, began starting homework without repeated reminders, and stopped losing track of materials. The biggest change came when he said, \u201cNow I don\u2019t feel lost before I start \u2014 I know what to do first.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This case highlights how children often don\u2019t need more teaching, but the right structure, planning strategies, and a sense of control over their learning.
